Curtis has an athletic history that is as impressive as it is varied. He has achieved world-class credentials in three different sports, gaining a reputation as an overachiever who approached each challenge with relentless energy, passion, and enthusiasm. As a hockey player, Curtis played 11 years professionally in both the NHL and the WHA. Following his hockey career, Curtis went on to perform as a triathlete, completing the 1985 Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii.
